This is my very first blog post. I’m excited! There’s a lot happening right now for Illyria Pottery. My studio is up and running. I’m already teaching multiple students. My newest, Nikki Eoute, started just yesterday. I’ve been working all week to fill my kiln, and it ran last night without a hitch. I can’t wait to open it later this afternoon to see how things turned out! Opening a kiln is like Christmas! The treasures inside will populate my new website. On Sat. evening my web designer, Sam Gerdt, will teach me how to upload everything to the site. As soon as this is done we’ll launch! I know, I know, you can’t wait to see the new site…me too! Just be patient.
I can’t wait to be one of your students too!! Your work is fabulous and I’ve enjoyed my curio cup set so much…. oh… and my jewelry!!
